It was 1944 when the three young brothers Giacinto, Varese and Alvaro Cristiani arrived in Rome at the height of the Second World War with the objective of building a future for their family. The passion for their homeland´s gastronomy – Tuscany – and their dedication were key to writing the foundations of their restaurant: Fiammetta.
This restaurant was founded and is still managed as a small family business. For more than 74 years it has been a meeting point for nostalgic palates, traditional flavours´ hunters, curious tourists and regular customers.
Fiammetta has now doubled its address with the opening of the new venue in Lisbon, Portugal, with a restaurant and a gourmet shop that mingle in one space. Fiammetta Lisboa proudly holds the same values of the three founders and, beyond all geographical boundaries, offers its customers a careful selection of authentic Italian products of exclusive handcrafted origin.
